This is a botanical garden and greenhouse whose origins date back to 1902 when the City of Cleveland planned used it to grow plants for their parks. The greenhouses were completed in 1905. When you first enter the four-acre grounds you will feel like you’re in a different place.

My advice would be to start with indoor exhibits.

Walking around the indoor greenhouse you will find flower gardens alongside the walkways with towering plants behind them. This includes tropical and cacti collections as well as a peaceful water garden. Once you are done inside head out to the outdoor exhibits. The paths will take you through themed gardens such as the Betty Ott Talking Garden, Japanese Garden, and Rose Garden. The outside has plenty of shade and benches to sit.

Rockefeller Park Greenhouse has displays that change throughout the year. For example, during the fall, they have autumn plants and late-season flowers. The property is very clean and easy to navigate with walkable paths.
